Roll Dem Bones Scale Game

This ought to relieve the boredom of practicing scales. You'll need a set of gaming dice, like the ones used in role-playing games such as "Dungeons and Dragons", etc.

You need at least a 20, 10, and 4-sided die. The advanced scale player will need an 8-sided die, too.

Here's how you play:

Roll 3 dice at once: 20, 10, and 4-sided.....or use the Auto Dice Roller if you don't have gaming dice.

The number on the 20-sided die will name the scale to be played according to the chart below.

The 10-sided die will define the Number Tongue you'll use, according to Tom's Numbered Tonguing System. Review this system if you aren't familiar with it.

The 4-sided (or 8-sided for you advanced folks:-) will tell the quality of the scale according to the chart below.

Have a ton of fun! I suggest rolling the dice at least 5 times a day. Get together with friends or with your teacher and roll away!
