"Fair Phyllis I Saw"
Here, I've arranged this beautiful tune in a manner that is common in Brass Band scoring. It is basically a 4-voice texture:
The melody is carried by the Cornets. The alto voice is heard in the Flugel, Alto horns, and Baritones. The tenor voice is covered by the Tenor trombones and Euphoniums. The Bass voice, then, is played in the Bass bone, Eb tuba, and Bb tuba.
